Kajaani

The leading development themes of Kajaani’s ecosystem agreement (tem.fi) are measurement technology and high-performance computing. Developing measurement technology and the data industry is an important part of the City of Kajaani's strategy and vitality programme.

Kajaani has decades of expertise in measurement technology: the forest industry's measurement technology has expanded to include environmental and wellbeing measurements. Kajaani is also a data centre location for high-performance computing. Kajaani and Sotkamo will have an international-level centre for excellence for sports and wellbeing data.
